Marisol, from Colombia, brings over a decade of legal experience to our team. After completing her Bachelor of Laws in her home country in 2012 and working in Commercial Law, she moved to Australia in 2015. Here, she pursued her Australian Bachelor of Laws at QUT, graduating in 2020 and being admitted to practice in 2021.

Marisol’s passion for personal injury and employment law stems from her deep connection with the migrant community. Witnessing the challenges and vulnerabilities migrants face in understanding their rights, she was inspired by her mentors to focus her expertise on helping those who have been injured or whose rights have been violated in their employment.

Marisol is dedicated to representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including public liability, compulsory third party, and workers compensation claims. She also handles negotiations arising from unfair dismissals and other issues related to employment agreements. Fluent in Spanish and English, Marisol ensures that language is never a barrier, offering clear and compassionate communication with her diverse clients.

In addition to her legal work, Marisol has knowledge of migration law, having volunteered with RAILS and Latino charities, and navigating her journey to becoming a permanent resident in Australia.

Outside of her legal career, Marisol has worked in hospitality and other industries during her migration journey, giving her a unique understanding of her clients’ experiences. She values diversity and is committed to addressing the needs of every individual she represents. In her free time, Marisol enjoys crafting and planting succulents, sharing her creations with friends as gifts, and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.
